# Key Rotation

**If you believe your API Key has been compromised, revoke the key in your Branta Dashboard.**

Keys can be set to expire at any date, or never. 

Branta will send automated email reminders leading up to the expiration date in the following intervals:

* 30 days before
* 7 days before 
* 2 days before
